Mirroring is the next step after the Single-Hand Figure 8.
A note from Called to Flag: At Called to Flag, we don’t assign spiritual names to each technical movement—not because they lack meaning or power, but because we believe movement itself is a language of worship. Every motion declares, proclaims, and communicates something from the spirit, yet each person interprets that language differently. Giving a single “name” to a movement can sometimes limit your freedom to express what God is doing uniquely through you.
In this course, you will learn how to move both hands together in matching motions—flowing side by side in unity and harmony.
Each lesson is taught slowly and clearly so beginners can follow with confidence, and experienced flaggers can refine the details of hand position, timing, and control.
Through guided practice, you’ll discover how your left and right hands can reflect one another, creating a visual expression of agreement, balance, and alignment in worship.
You’ll learn how to:
Move both hands in matching, mirrored paths
Create smooth transitions without touching or crossing flags
Increase flow, grace, and symmetry in your worship movement
Strengthen hand coordination, spacing, and timing
Build sensitivity to how your body responds to the Holy Spirit
The Mirroring Technique includes:

As you practice, take time to notice how each movement feels and what it expresses.
Just like spoken words can carry many layers of meaning, the same motion can release a unique message to each person. God created you with a distinct voice—and in worship, that voice moves with purpose, beauty, and power.
